I'm Malgorzata Romanowska,

I'm a freelance product designer with 4+ years of experience in different industries, specialised in furniture design. ​

Recently, my focus has been on furniture design, both in mass-production and small-series production. However, I really enjoy working on other design topics as well.

 

I believe good design starts with dialogue and openness to understand the context of the new project. 

 

So, I spend time understanding your company, your strengths, manufacturing methods, market, as well as your users — their motivations, struggles, experiences. 

These insights and constraints help me design products strategically that solve problems and resonate with your brand and audience.

 

Design should also care for people involved and our resources, that is why I look for quality in materials and experience.

I get inspired by research, discovered insights, teamwork, but also everyday observations, and I like testing out ideas by doing.

 

I graduated with an MA in industrial design from The E. Geppert Academy of Art and Design in Wrocław, Poland. I’ve gathered work experience through internships in design studios in Poland and Portugal and had the opportunity to work on sports equipment, fair trade stands, bag, and jewellery.

 

We can discuss the project in English, German, or Polish.

 

After hours, I enjoy cycling, skiing, acrylic painting, and pottery.​
